Hamentaschen

Ingredients
Dough:
16 oz. yeast
2 cups flour
1/2 lb. butter
1 cup heavy cream
6 eggs
2 Tbsp. sugar

Filling:
2 cups poppy seeds
1 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. honey
1 tsp. butter
1 beaten egg
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup ground nuts


Preparation:

Mix yeast with cream and sugar.

Add butter.

Add yolks.

Knead into dough.

Cut into circles with 3" diameter.

Grind poppy seeds until fine.

Add raisins and ground nuts.

Place teaspoon and filling on cut dough circles.

Pinch ends together to form triangle.

Bake for 10-15 minutes in 300-degree oven.
