Honey Cake
Ingredients:
1 lb. flour
5 eggs, separated
2 sticks of butter
3/4 cup of honey
1 cup sour cream
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
cinnamon to taste
ginger to taste
1 cup raisins
Preparation:
In bowl, beat
yolks with sugar.
Add flour and
sour cream and stir.
Pour mixture
into bowl with melted butter, honey and baking soda.
Beat egg whites
and add to mixture
Batter should
be consistency of sour cream.
Add spices and
raisins.
Pour mixture
into greased pan. Bake for 1 hour at 350-degrees or until cake is
golden brown.
