Lauder Hugo Kon School

The Lauder Hugo Kon Jewish day school in Zagreb was established in 2006, in partnership with The Bet Israel Jewish Community of Croatia in Zagreb. For the first time since World War II, Jewish children in Zagreb now have the opportunity to study Hebrew and Jewish tradition in a warm and caring environment. The Lauder Hugo Kon School offers all students an excellent secular education as well as a top notch Judaic Studies and Hebrew program, Tal-Am and Tal-Sela. The school provides a whole day program, from 8h till 17h. Individual work with etch student is one of the school specialties. Among advantages of the school are the study of foreign languages (Hebrew, English, French and Latin), music, drama and art workshops and computer studies. The food served in the school is Kosher. The School started with one grade and seven kids, today the school have a total enrollment of 30 students.
